Meet the Dentist
Prabhavathi J Prattipati, DMD
(Dr. Prabha)
Dr. Prattipati received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Masters in Clinical Dentistry from the UAB School of Dentistry. She then received her advanced training in comprehensive implant education.
Dr. Prattipati has over 20 years of experience in dentistry and is continuously introducing the latest principles into the practice. She has recently earned her Diplomat of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Her practice philosophy is committed to quality and minimally invasive dentistry. She takes the time to listen to her patients concerns and values and works with them find their optimal oral health plan.
While much of her time is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care, she still finds time to give back to her community through volunteering work at a local Non-profit academic institution.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Prattipati spends most of her time with her beautiful family. She loves gardening, cooking hearty healthy meals, and interior Decorating in her free time.

Megan
Hello, I’m Megan and I am a certified dental assistant here at Prime Smile Dental Care. I started as an orthodontic assistant for a year then transferred here. I’m from Alexander City and I enjoy watching scary movies and spending time with my family.
Sam
My name is Sam and I joined Prime Smile Dental Care in October 2017 as a Dental Assistant and I am now the Insurance and Treatment Coordinator. I obtained my CDA certificate at the Birmingham Dental Assistant School in July 2017. Some of my duties include reviewing patients’ medical and dental history, discussing recommended treatment and putting it in action, reviewing payment options, and checking insurances, from verifying and maximizing patients’ benefits to helping patients understand how all these things will work together. My experience working in both the back and front office is an essential asset in helping the patients maximizing their insurance while decreasing their out of pocket expenses by utilizing their benefits the best way possible, while still receiving the best dental care.
Other than English, I can also fluently speak Spanish and Italian to better assist you with any language barrier.
